My story was not a setback. It was the strategy.

I came into this world as the 7th of 11 children · 3 lbs 9 oz, and the medical professionals were not optimistic. My mother didn’t accept that report. She took me to the church, and that community of faith gathered around a tiny life and prayed. I am here today because of the power of God and the fabric of community that held my family together in that moment.

That community · that threading of lives around a common faith · is the foundation of everything I build. And it’s no coincidence: my name, Penny, comes from Penelope · which means weaver. WOVEN was written into my story before I even knew it.

For years I carried that miracle quietly. I struggled with confidence. I knew I was called to something more, but I spent a long time not knowing what that was. I threw myself into my work, going above and beyond every role I was given, serving communities, mentoring people, pouring out · even when no one asked me to.

Then I realized: my story was not a setback. It was the strategy. The 7th child. The 7 pillars. The 7 signs. God doesn’t waste a number, and He does not waste a story.
